Dear friends,
For our friend Anthony Mungin, the last month of 2013 and the first of 2014 were particularly troubled and eventful... But, many thanks to your support and your many cards for the Christmas season, Anthony was able to overcome the very difficult times he had had to endure during December. He has already thanked you all for your faithful support. As the president of «Save Anthony» I would also like to thank you all very much for everything you do for him. As Anthony wrote it himself, you are his family!
As you probably already know it, Anthony’s problems with his lawyers are now completely over; in the future, he will be defended by a duo of very good lawyers: Todd Scher, who will continue his job, and Ann Finnell. This latter person has a very strong reputation in Florida: she is best known for having defended years ago a young black man wrongfully accused of murder (doesn’t this remind you somebody else ???). This case was the subject of a documentary film that some of you may have seen: «un coupable idéal» (director: JX Lestrade). A definitely recommended film…
The choice to have two lawyers is THE choice of Anthony - that we, members of the association, must absolutely respect; moreover, in our opinion, we think that this choice is the right one for Anthony to have a good chance to save his life and to obtain good justice.
But it’s still a long way to get there: as such, Anthony absolutely needs each one of you to continue to help him!
In this context, I would like to encourage all of you to renew or suscribe your membership to the association «Save Anthony”.
How to help Anthony ?
Just simply send to the association (the address is indicated below) a check of 10 Euros. Of course you can send more! In this case, just indicate in a short letter with your check that 10 Euros are intended for your membership.
Why is it important to be a member of «Save Anthony»? Because, by this gesture, you show your long-term support to Anthony; by this gesture, we know - or rather Anthony knows – that he can rely on you now, but also in the future!
